Dimensions of Interaction

“Dimensions of interaction” is a short film work showing relationships of interaction by gesture. In the film, the relationships discussed are the attack, defense, and moderation which are somewhere in the middle. These three relationships or dimensions can be flexible and free swapping, resulting in the interaction drifting out between the challenge and compromise, meaning and meaningless, understanding and misunderstanding. Finally, constituted a self-justificatory system, which is different from the trust, by speech. The reason why using gestures is that gestures are kinds of visible body language. They can transform the internal emotion and concept to visible expression through speed, strength, and specific shape.

《对话的维度》是由手势所演绎的关于对话关系的视频作品。这里 ，对话关系讨论的是‘攻击’‘防御’以及介于二者之间的‘中庸’。这三种维度在对话关系中是可以随时切换的，并使得对话本身游离于挑战与妥协之间，有意义和无意义之间，理解和误解之间。最终形成一种用言语所建立的有区别于真相的自圆其说的体系。之所以运用手势，是考虑到手势是一种直观的肢体语言，它能将内在的情绪与观念通过速度，力量以及具体的造型转化为一种可见的表达。
