Dafu Yan: Logistics

"Logistics" is Dafu’s first solo art exhibition. It features 14 images and installations derived from his long-term personal project, "Migration and Seeking," conducted at the Imagokinetics Lab from last summer to the present. In "Migration and Seeking," the fisherman, tasked with searching for the Peach Blossom Spring (Taohuayuan), ultimately obtains fragmented clues leading to his destination after months of detours.
Since 2020, the relationship between the circulation of energy, matter, and information has become a key theme in Dafu’s work. This spans from the visualization of the structure of "information" flow to the comparison of "people" as consumable mobile resources. The central theme of this exhibition is "matter," specifically referring to the abstract flow of material related to "logistics." It also represents the foundational infrastructure in which the public plays a deeply participatory role.
To strengthen the narrative connection, the exhibited works will feature opposing or complementary relationships. The exhibition title, "Logistics," not only summarizes the common characteristics of the works but also points to the ambiguities and strategies hidden within them.

展览「移物」是颜达夫的第一场艺术个展。它收录了达夫从去年夏日至今在想象力学实验室进行的长期个人项目「洄游寻志」中衍生而出的14件图像与装置。「洄游寻志」中所假定的寻觅桃源的渔人经过数月绕行之后，最终攫取到了通向目标的路引残片。
2020年至今，能量、物质与信息的流通关系成为达夫日常创作的线索。从对“信息”流通结构所做出的具象化阐释，再到将“人”比作可供消耗的流动性资源。以及本次展览所关注的核心关键词“物”，其特指与“物流”有关的抽象化的物质流动，同时也是全民深刻参与的基础建设。
为增强叙事的关联，所展出的作品之间将存在立场相对或关系互补的呼应。展览名称「移物」既是对所展出作品共同特征的总结，亦是对潜藏于作品之间的谜题与谋略所生出的疑误。
